Ryszard Rybicki was born in Poland in 1961. He studied painting at the Ian Van Eyck Art Academy in Brugge, Belgium. Ryszard's style has evolved from impressionistic textured pieces through vivid colourism to more varied means of expression.

His first solo exhibition took place in 1987 at Galeria El in Elblag, Poland. Since then Ryszard has expanded his range and has been involved in numerous solo and group exhibitions, charity auctions, art projects and performances in Poland and Germany. His drawings and paintings can be found in private collections and galleries throughout Europe and in the USA. Since 2004 he has been living and working in London.
